The result is a sativa-dominant hybrid full of character and vitality, capable of expressing a fresh, pungent citrus profile with immediacy and precision, enriched by the herbal and earthy complexity typical of the Haze family. A close relative of Super Lemon Haze — with which it shares part of its genetic heritage — Lemon Haze stands apart through a slightly more herbal and less sweet profile, with a more direct and immediate citrus pungency. THE APPEARANCE

The flowers of Lemon Haze CBD fully reflect the strain's sativa nature: the flower clusters are elongated and airy, medium-sized, with an open, light structure that allows air to circulate between the calyxes. Colour is one of this variety's most characteristic and immediately recognisable features: a bright, light green with shades that lean distinctly towards lime yellow in the more mature areas of the flower clusters, a direct and almost symbolic visual reference to the fruit after which it is named. The pistils are a vibrant orange-yellow and abundant, evenly distributed among the leaves to create a warm, luminous contrast with the light green of the buds. The trichome covering is present and uniform, with whitish crystals that give the buds a sparkling, translucent appearance. The leaves surrounding the flower clusters are thin and tapered, typical of long-cycle sativa genetics. The buds are selected and trimmed by hand to ensure consistent, high-quality batches.

AROMA

Lemon Haze's aromatic profile is its most immediate and distinctive signature: an explosion of fresh, pungent, crystal-clear lemon that makes an impression from the very first encounter with an almost therapeutic vitality. The dominant notes are those of freshly cut lemon and lemon zest — fresh, tart and almost electric in their intensity — accompanied by hints of lime and citron that amplify the citrus component. In the background, the complexity typical of the Haze family emerges, with herbal hints of fresh herbs, pine and a light earthy note that balance the liveliness of the citrus without diminishing its strength. Unlike Super Lemon Haze, Lemon Haze's aroma is less sweet and more direct, with a citrus pungency reminiscent of lemon juice rather than sweets: clean, fresh and immediate. ORIGIN AND CULTIVATION

This strain is grown in a fully controlled indoor environment, where temperature, humidity and photoperiod are precisely managed to enhance the production of limonene — the dominant terpene responsible for its characteristic lemon aroma — and terpinolene, which contributes to the profile's fresh, herbal notes. Lemon Haze is a variety with a longer flowering cycle than the average hybrid, requiring patience and care from the grower: the plants tend to grow tall and need canopy management techniques to optimise light penetration and the yield of the upper flower clusters. The temperature is kept slightly lower during the final weeks of flowering to preserve volatile terpenes and maintain the citrus freshness that characterises the strain. Cultivation takes place without pesticides or chemical fertilisers, in full accordance with the highest organic standards. The flower clusters are harvested at the optimal time, dried slowly and selected by hand before packaging.

THE ORIGINS

The history of Lemon Haze is closely intertwined with that of the Dutch cannabis scene in the 1990s and 2000s, when Amsterdam's seed banks began systematically working to optimise the terpene profiles of the great classic varieties. Lemon Skunk — one of its parents — originated in the Netherlands from the crossing of two strongly citrus-scented Skunk phenotypes selected over several years by Vegas, a breeder from the Dutch underground scene, who succeeded in stabilising and intensifying the lemon profile in a robust, reliable variety. Silver Haze, the other parent, was already an established Cannabis Cup-winning variety, descended from the original Californian Haze strains through crosses with Northern Lights and Skunk to adapt them to the European climate. Crossing these two outstanding strains gave rise to Lemon Haze, which quickly spread throughout Europe thanks to its immediately accessible aromatic simplicity and its ability to appeal to both newcomers and experienced enthusiasts. Today, it is regarded as a classic of the European CBD scene, appreciated for its unmistakable freshness and its history rooted in the finest traditions of Dutch cannabis.
